Easy Crochet Bow Free Pattern and Tutorial

What do you do with your leftover yarn? Yesterday I decided to make some bows with those scraps. They are really simple to crochet and addictive too!

Qué hacen con los restos de lana? Ayer decidí hacer unos moños con esas sobras. Son muy fáciles de tejer y muy adictivos también!



I attached them to hair ties but you can use them to decorate shoes, necklaces, pillows or they can even be used to dress-up packages.

Los sujeté a colitas para el pelo pero pueden usarlos para decorar zapatos, collares, almohadones o incluso se pueden usar para poner elegante un paquete.

Materials:
  • Leftover yarn (Worsted / 10 ply, 100% acrylic)
  • a 5mm crochet hook
  • a pair of scissors
  • a hair tie
  • a yarn needle
Abbreviations:
  • ch - chain
  • sl st - slip stitch
  • hdc - half double crochet
  • Rnd - round
  • () - number of stitches you should have at the end of your row.

Pattern and Tutorial:


Ch 20
Rnd 1: 1 hdc in the second ch from hook. Continue to hdc to the end (19) Turn your work.
Rnd 2: ch 2, 1 hcd in each stitch (19) Turn.
Rnd 3: ch 2, 1 hcd in each stitch (19)


Fold the work in half and join with Sl st. Ch 20.
Wrap the string of chains around the center of the bow. Fasten it using a yarn needle.
Sew the bow to the hair tie.

  • un par de tijeras
  • colita para el pelo
  • aguja lanera
Abreviaturas:
  • cad - cadena
  • pe - punto enano
  • mpa - medio punto alto
  • H - hilera
  • () - número de puntos que hay que tener al finalizar la hilera

Patrón y Tutorial:

20 cad
1H: 1 mpa en la segunda cad desde la aguja. Continuar con mpa hasta el final. (19) Dar vuelta el trabajo. 
2H: 2 cad, 1 mpa en cada punto (19) Dar vuelta.
3H: 2 cad, 1 mpa en cada punto (19)

Doblar el trabajo a la mitad y unirlo con pe. 20 cad.
Enrollar la tira de cadenas en el centro del moño. Sujetarla usando la aguja lanera. 
Coser el moño a la colita para el pelo.
Y listo!
